There are only two units of the Mercedes-Benz 300SLR, also known as the Uhlenhaut coupe, in the world. One of them was auctioned in 2022 for $143 million, but it is believed to be worth much more today.
An Instagram video posted a few days ago shows one of the two existing Uhlenhaut coupes casually driving through the tight downhill turn known as turn six of the Monaco circuit when the roads were closed.
It is not exactly known who owns the world’s most expensive car, other than the fact that they are a well-known collector in the UK automotive industry. However, one must admire the boldness of actually driving such an absurdly expensive vehicle around.
